Snedden Hall & Gallop enjoys a reputation for commitment to the ACT community that spans 60 years.
We provide legal assistance to a number of local not-for-profit organisations in matters of corporate governance, contract law, leasing and employment law. Where possible, we offer these services on a pro bono basis. We’re always happy to hear about the activities being undertaken by community groups and invite you to contact us if your organisation might be interested in working with our firm in the future.

Snedden Hall & Gallop is a proud member of the Master Builders ACT and a member of its Professional Sector Committee.
The MBA Women in Construction group was founded in 2018 with the aim of creating avenues for our female members to connect with other women working in similar roles or facing similar challenges within their building and construction business. As a founding partner, Snedden Hall & Gallop, assist the program to provide a calendar of events (including social events prior to COVID-19), as well as information and advice to support our members. The group recognises these women for their achievements, and aims to help them achieve personal and business success through a range of learning sessions and networking events.
So far, the group has hosted a lunch with Kate Carnell, Australian Small Business and Family Enterprise Ombudsman, attended a number of sessions conducted by Emily Shoemark, and held a workshop in digital marketing. The group is proud to support International Women’s Day – in 2019 they attended a WAFL game, and in 2020, a lunch with V8 Supercar driver Emily Duggan was planned (now postponed to 2021).
We value the opportunity to contribute to the MBA community by providing articles on relevant legal issues to the MBA’s magazine, Canberra Builder, and presenting on relevant topics at seminars.
