The Snedden Hall & Gallop University Scholarship turns 21 this year! Since we first awarded the scholarships in 1999, we’ve helped almost 40 aspiring lawyers by providing financial assistance during the first three years of their university studies. Many scholarship winners have also been able to join our team, even if only for a short time.
To commemorate this significant birthday, we’re going through the archives to give you an update on where some of those young stars are now.
In this profile we find out more about 2008 scholarship winner Anthony Antioch.

Anthony Antioch

Where is he now?

Anthony is an Associate with law firm, Kirkland & Ellis, based in their London office.

How did he get there?

Anthony was attending Radford College when he won the Snedden Hall & Gallop University Scholarship in 2008.
During and after his studies at the Australian National University, Anthony was part of the Snedden Hall & Gallop family, initially as a law clerk and then as a solicitor. He left our firm when he moved overseas, taking up a position as solicitor with Linklaters, working in its London and Moscow offices.
Anthony joined Kirkland & Ellis in 2018, where he specialises in international corporate tax.

What does Anthony say about the scholarship?

Of his time working with us, and of the scholarship program, Anthony said:
‘The scholarship not only helped to fund my education, it provided the opportunity to gain private practice experience alongside my studies. Working under the Snedden Hall & Gallop directors accelerated my development and unlocked the doors that led to my current career.’
