GERALD SANTUCCI
Director
Gerald Santucci leads the Business Law team at Snedden Hall & Gallop and has over 40 years’ experience in commercial law, property and disputes.
Widely respected for his ability to resolve complex commercial issues, Gerald advises clients on business acquisitions, transactions, structures, property, tax and insolvency matters. His experience spans the building, manufacturing, retail, hospitality, technology and education industries.
Gerald leads the firm’s migration practice, where he assists employers and individuals to secure permanent and temporary business, skilled, residential and student visas. He is also a member of the Migration Institute of Australia (MIA).
He joined the firm in August 1990, prior to which he was a partner at another Canberra law firm. Before his legal career, Gerald served as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Australian Army under the national service scheme and worked in the Department of Overseas Trade. He holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of New South Wales, a diploma from the University of Lyon II, France and a Bachelor of Laws from the Australian National University.
Gerald is currently the Chair of the ACT Law Society’s Legal Profession and Ethics Committee and a member of Calvary Hospital’s Human Research Ethics Committee. Previously he was a councillor of the ACT Law Society, a board member of Villaggio Sant’ Antonio aged care, and chairman of Marist College Advisory Board. He is fluent in French and Spanish.
