Congratulations to Dr Catherine Ordway on recently being awarded her PhD at the University of Canberra’s October 2019 graduation ceremony.
Until recently, Catherine was a senior consultant with Snedden Hall & Gallop, working with us as a business and strategic adviser as part of our Sport Law practice. And in earlier days (1994–1997), Catherine was an integral part of our Personal Injury team.
Catherine has had an impressive career and is a recognised international expert in the field of integrity in sport, specialising in anti-doping policy. She is now an Assistant Professor and Course Convenor in Sports Management at the University of Canberra – aren’t those students so incredibly lucky to learn from her!
The title of Catherine’s thesis is: Protecting Sports Integrity: Sport corruption strategies. And as this was a thesis by publication, the important things she had to say on this topic have been read more broadly than perhaps other theses have been.
Congratulations again Catherine – we are proud to have been part of your journey.
