The Snedden Hall & Gallop University Scholarship turns 21 this year! Since we first awarded the scholarships in 1999, we’ve helped almost 40 aspiring lawyers by providing financial assistance during the first three years of their university studies. Many scholarship winners have also been able to join our team, even if only for a short time.
To commemorate this significant birthday, we’re going through the archives to give you an update on where some of those young stars are now.
In this profile we learn more about Daniel Low.

Daniel Low

Where is he now?

Daniel is about to move to Sydney to take up a graduate position with Hall & Wilcox.

How did he get there?

Daniel was a student at St Mary MacKillop College in 2013 when he won the Snedden Hall & Gallop university scholarship.
He then went on to study law and economics at the Australian National University, graduating in 2019.
Daniel joined our team at Snedden Hall & Gallop in 2015, working as a paralegal with us until early 2019. He then moved to Moray & Agnew before deciding to make the move to Sydney. We hope one day he’ll come back to us!

What does Daniel say about the scholarship?

‘Receiving the Snedden Hall & Gallop scholarship was enormously beneficial – the provision of financial support and meaningful work experience provided me with an advantage as a law student. In high school, it was incredibly encouraging to know that people in the legal profession genuinely supported my ambition to pursue a career in law.
