On 2 April 2026, ASIC has provided a Simplification update – more forms enabled for email lodgements. This initiative is part of ASIC’s simplification work outlined in its Regulatory Simplification report to transition more ‘paper-only’ documents to email lodgement and enable electronic signatures on all forms.
ASIC has enabled another 30 paper forms that can now be submitted via email. This builds upon the 35 forms enabled for email lodgement last year.
From 31 March 2026, lodgement by email expands to include 65 forms. This gives a company greater flexibility and helps reduce reliance on paper. Email lodgement is faster and more convenient, while posting remains available for those who prefer it.
Email lodgement
If the form you want can be lodged by email, the form page will include:
- a downloadable blank form,
- the email address for lodgement, and
- any further instructions.
See the attached link: How to lodge forms: online, email, mail | ASIC
You can see details in ASIC’s Document lodgement requirements: Document lodgement requirements
Electronic signature also extend to forms that can be lodged by email.
